Behrouz Javid Tehrani, only political prisoner of the famous students outburst at mid summer of 1999(18 Tir) who is still in jail, is in unknown condition since 3 weeks ago and there is no knowledge about his fate, so far.
He was insulted and beaten by one of the staff at the health center of Gohardasht prison on 27 April (2008) and then transferred to solitary confinement. The solitary confinement of this prison has no suitable and healthy condition and is a place for the sentenced prisoners to death.
Behrouz Javid Tehrani has been imprisoned since 8 years ago and during this time suffered most horrible physical and mental tortures.
On the other hand, Dr. Mostafa Alavi, the imprisoned researcher is on dangerous condition. He began his hunger strike near one month ago for protest to the inhuman treatment of persons in charged of the Gohardasht prison. After 30 days being on hunger strike, his pervious diseases are deteriorated now.
In reply to Dr. Alavi’s condition, Ali Mohamadi, the legal deputy of the prison told him “it is not important if you die here and we don’t care about it”.
This is worth of notification that these two political prisoners have been transferred to the Gohaedasht prison, recently. This prison has on of the worst healthy condition and transferring to this prison is an instrument for putting pressure on prisoners specially political prisoners.

one must not forget that one aspect of “security” cases is the image that they carry for the groups that advance such issues. Therefore, before fake charges take to the news-media and become public, those who have had a hand in arresting the students must be weakened. Otherwise, after the severe charges are made public, repeated and are tied to the image of the actors, even the intervention of the head of the judiciary (as history demonstrates) cannot be of much help to the detainees.
How can we tell the judiciary officials of Iran that according to law juveniles can stay alive and continue to live with appropriate and suitable punishment? How must one make this request from the judiciary a public and wide-spread demand and point out that killing a juvenile who has not wholeheartedly committed an act does not solve any of the real problems facing the country?
