Death of Eight Building Workers in Shiraz During Last Month

More than eight workers, working on foundation of buildings, have died since the last month due to not having sufficient safety equipments.

“Most of these workers were under the supervision of contractors but unfortunately they died due to the indifference of employers about the safety issues at work place.” Farshidian, president of building workers union in Shiraz said. He added:”death toll in the province is more than 30.”
